Like many in the hospitality industry, Eric has worn a lot of hats throughout his career. Ice cream scooper, dishwasher, bartender, line cook, pizza cook, GM, server, and just about everything else he could get his hands on.

Now, as Founder of Select, Start and Principal Search Consultant with Gravity Talent Partners, he advises organizations on talent acquisition strategy, direct hire recruiting, operations consulting, recruiting and operational technology, employer branding, and workforce planning.

Among all of these experiences, his 9 years as Director of Global Talent and Development supporting Chef José Andrés is what most profoundly shaped his career. In this leadership capacity, he designed and executed a global talent strategy that helped scale the organization from 600 to over 3,000 employees across 30+ properties and international partnerships. He built the internal recruiting function from the ground up, managed hiring for over 20 new location openings, and implemented enterprise solutions that centralized recruiting processes across the group.
