Jonathan grew up in restaurants, not as a stepping stone but as a foundation. His father owned multiple restaurants, and by age nine Jonathan was washing dishes and bussing tables for two dollars an hour. Long before he understood titles or org charts, he learned what accountability, teamwork, and pressure look like in real life. He still remembers getting chewed out at nine for not wanting to pick up an extra shift. Hospitality teaches responsibility early, and it never lets you forget it.

That upbringing shaped how Jonathan understands leadership, operations, and people. After a successful career in restaurant operations, he moved into hospitality management recruiting in 2003, bringing an operator's mindset to the hiring and leadership side of the industry. For more than two decades he has worked closely with ownership groups, management companies, and senior leaders, seeing firsthand how hospitality talent is evaluated, selected, and trusted.
