The Attraction Manager Role
An Attraction Manager runs the attraction side of a large format entertainment venue: the activities, games or experiences guests come for, and the team that operates them. The job combines safety, guest experience and the operations discipline to move high guest counts smoothly through a busy day.
Day to day, the Attraction Manager builds the schedule, leads attendants and supervisors, runs opening and closing checks, holds safety procedures and inspections, manages guest flow and wait times, and handles issues on the floor. The role tracks labor and supplies and reports on attraction level results.
Because the venue also runs dining, bar and events, the Attraction Manager works closely with food and beverage and events leaders so the whole experience feels like one operation. Strong candidates lead large hourly teams well and keep energy high while standards stay tight.
Candidates come from attraction, recreation, entertainment, theme park or family entertainment center management roles.
