The Regional Vice President of Operations Role
A Regional Vice President of Operations leads a market or region of a multi unit brand: the unit leaders, the results and the standards that make the brand what it is. The role owns the P&L for the region and the strength of its leadership bench.
Day to day, the RVP visits units, coaches general managers and district leaders, drives sales, labor and cost performance, holds operating and guest experience standards, and partners with the home office on openings, training and marketing.
The strongest regional leaders build talent faster than the company grows, so every new location opens with a ready leader and existing units keep improving.
Candidates usually come from Regional Director, Director of Operations or Regional Vice President roles with multi unit restaurant, cafe or entertainment brands.
