The Senior Vice President, Facilities, Energy and Capital Role

This executive owns the physical side of a hotel portfolio: the long range capital plan, facilities and engineering standards, and the energy strategy that keeps properties efficient and competitive.

Day to day, the role prioritizes and funds capital projects across dozens of hotels, leads engineering and facilities leaders, manages energy procurement and efficiency programs, and reports to the CEO and ownership on spend, results and risk.

Strong candidates have run capital, engineering or asset management functions for a multi property hotel or real estate company and are comfortable managing a large annual spend with discipline.

Candidates usually come from senior capital planning, engineering, facilities or asset management roles with hotel owners, operators or REITs.
